The more tip hand keeps reflecting about the imaginary x axis(180 degrees) about itself. The more bottom hand keeps doing a 45 degree rotation clockwise. So if your start from left to right, your last image should be spot on.
I see it as a clock. 3 o clock, 5 o clock and 6 o clock. difference of 2 hours, then 1 hour. only natural the time is cutting in half, hence 6.30. Time advances half of 1 hour!
